Party Season
In our hot party season, we tend to bare more skin and want have that healthy glow emanating from every pore as we glam it up for
a good month or so of parties. So what is the secret to that healthy glow? And how can we achieve it? The following are some simple steps to get your skin up to speed for the party season.
As with every good skincare regimen, we have to concentrate on proper cleansing, moisturising and protection. Begin with exfoliation to rid the skin
of those dead skin cells, we recommend you use SunSense Scrub, enriched with cocoa butter and honey to get your skin ready for a great look. For the face, use QV Face Exfoliating Polish with microbeads to refresh the skin. While you’re at it, use a quality soap-free cleanser in the shower; we suggest QV Gentle Wash for the body and QV Face Moisturising Cleanser for the face. You have just completed the first step to beautiful party skin.
It’s now moisturising time. As with all moisturising, it’s best to do it straight after
a shower to really help lock-in all that moisture. There is a QV moisturiser to suit every body and the QV Face has a face moisturiser for day and night.
The final step to great party skin is good protection. We’re talking protection
from dryness, protection from the sun and, dare we say, protection from pale white skin. The first two, we can do with proper moisturising and using a quality sunscreen regularly (something we should be doing no matter what the weather
is like outside). The last bit we can do with a good self-tanner.
So what makes for a good self tanner? Regular tanners know that to improve the colour results, the skin has to be smooth and moisturised even prior to applying colour. Try the SunSense Self Tanning System that includes a Scrub to exfoliate and moisturise the skin. To achieve that beautiful colour, SunSense Self Tan uses 2 tanning agents – They produce a red toned tan and a yellow toned tan. It is the proper blend and balance of these 2 tanning agents that give you that beautiful sun-kissed glow and also help the developed tan last longer. A further addition
of a dark brown tint in SunSense Self Tan lets you know where it has been applied and ensures an even and streak-free tan.
Bridging the gap between a self tanner and a sunscreen is SunSense Bronze Shield. It is a light milk sunscreen that is easily applied and readily absorbed,
with no greasy residue. The non-permanent tint provides instant natural colour
for a flawless finish. SunSense Bronze Shield also offers very high sun protection with an SPF 30+.
Always read the label and use only as directed.

INGREDIENT INTRODUCTION: Cocoa Butter
Cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil or theobroma cacao,
is a pale-yellow, pure edible vegetable fat extracted from the cacao bean. The smooth texture, sweet fragrance and moisturising property of cocoa butter make it a popular ingredient in skin care products.
SunSense Self Tanning products, including SunSense Pre Tan Scrub,
SunSense Self Tan and SunSense Everyday Radiance, are enriched with cocoa butter and honey for extra moisturising. Cocoa butter and honey are both excellent moisturisers and they help ensure that the skin is well hydrated before and after the tanning process, making application simple and even.
