The MOOV Community Grant invites schools and community groups to submit
a project that needs financial assistance, and this year’s winners will use their grants on a range on projects including a school kitchen for cooking classes,
an outdoor education centre, and portable grandstand seating for a new multi-purpose activity centre.

Senior Brand Manager of MOOV, Leah Coghlan said that over 500 entries were received this year, and it was very difficult to choose the winners because of the very high level of creativity and detail that went into submissions.“

“Entries more than doubled this year which was fantastic and our Victorian winner even submitted a 10kg head louse mosaic which was completely unexpected’
Ms Coghlan said.

She further remarked that “Many of the schools were looking to fund cooking programs and kitchen gardens which was very pleasing, because the purpose behind the Grant is to help build healthy communities and contribute towards projects.”

“The majority of submissions came from primary schools but we also had applications from scouts and girl-guides, childcare centres and sporting groups” Ms Coghlan said.

Planning is already underway for next year’s MOOV Community Grant with the possibility of extra prize options. Ms Coghlan said “At Ego we’re committed to developing products that help improve health and well being, and we also understand the financial well-being of schools and community groups can
improve health outcomes too.”

MOOV is the number one brand nationally for Head Lice Treatment in Australian pharmacy*, and the grants allow our entire staff to give back to communities financially. It also allows us to raise awareness of head lice and the associated problems in the community,” Ms Coghlan said.
